Help! One of my children "accidentally" put a mark about 2" long across the middle back of my T5's taupe leather driver's seat. The weapon of choice was a brand new blue ball point pen. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove the mark? (Suggestions involving the use of razor blades on either the seat back or the children will be ignored)

[This message has been edited by darell (edited 07-09-2001).]

Do they make Liquid Paper in a taupe shade?
As per http://forums.vwvortex.com/vwbb/Forum24/HTML/002641.html , you may want to try hair spray.
I've had good success treating my seats with Lexol, but have never used their cleaning product. Our Volvo dealer carries it, so that must be some sort of an endorsement!
I've seen comments mentioning that back of the seats are not leather, so you may want to verify this before attempting a solution.
Good luck!

Bruce -
If it's on a leather part, I've had great luck with Eagle 1 leather cleaner. Mostly I remove baby barf with it, but I have also used to to remove paint and various, undisclosed food items (this from my living room furniture). If it turns out to be vinyl, I'd probably try something like 303 first, then go harsher until it works.
Sheesh. Kids...what're ya gonna do?
- Darell
