Does anybody have the Injen intake with the OEM strut brace? Does it comfortably fit? I know that the K&N intake does not clear it.

How would you rate the sound? Half the reviews I've read say that it's a nice grumble, where half the reviews say it's not loud enough.

Keep in mind the engine moves while the brace does not. That said the OEM strut brace isn't very big so it will likely fit. Worse come worse you probably can put some spacer at the anchor points with the car and still be okay with the hood. You may have to go custom then.

I've read through AJ's thread a few times, but thanks!

I got the answer I needed off C30 World, the Injen fits perfectly fine under the OEM brace.

The only concern was that the OEM brace sits slightly lower than the aftermarket braces. I'll probably wrap some foam tape around the brace to avoid it from scratching the intake pipe; thankfully, it doesn't look like it should be a problem at all.
