The Injen intake comes with a very well put together list of instructions, pictures and all. This guide will show you how to modify the intake parts to fit your geartronic car; the intake was designed with a manual C30 so many things don't line up quite right.
Intake Pipe Mod
I don't know if this is an Automatic thing, but the stock intake pipe has two hoses and the Injen only has one input. I got a metal T hose connector and some extra hose to create this setup (one of my hoses loops around to prevent any harsh bends that would restrict flow):
ECU Bracket Mod Be patient, this is tricky to properly (safely) install.
First thing to do is undo the bolt that holds the clamp shown here, remove this entirely so you can move the wire tubes around as needed:
Also remove the clamp here, reattach it upside down so that it holds the wire tubes downward:
Move both the ECU electronic connectors under the green striped wire tubes. (I only have one of them moved in the picture below):
Move the coolant hose (the long hose on the bottom of this picture) so that it'll be on the inside of the ECU. If need be, twist any other hoses/wires away from the ECU so they are NOT touching it; you won't want them to melt from the ECU heat output:
MAKE SURE that nothing touches the transmission linkage (directly below where you'll be mounting the ECU). I had to bend my bracket some to hold the ECU higher, it initially pushed down on the linkage which cause issues when shifting between Park and Drive (thank you mkd28 for helping me find the problem):
Heat Shield Mod
You'll need to cut or bend the right side of the heat shield so that it clears all the automatic transmission parts. I bent mine back and flattened it with a clamp:
If fitted properly, you should be able to still attach the two screws at the bottom/inside of the heat shield:
Everything else should install straight from Injen's instructions.
Other Intake Mods
Cut an opening in the battery cooler tube:
This throws more air right at the filter and ECU (see the cut opening in the top of the picture below):
Open up the front scoop so that it actually scoops in the air (I plan on making the funnel larger and moving the horns):
Bought a silicone connector to reattach the two stock intake pieces:
Funnels the air better:
Remove the resonator from the rubber tube that leads from the intake pipe to the turbo, it comes out with a good tug. I did noticed a drop in boost pressure when I simply had the resonator removed, so you'll want to replace it with a straight pipe or fill the resonator holes and replace the stock piece. This is what it looks like with the resonator removed:

At low RPMs there is a bit of a turbo whine. This could be amplified due to my delete of the intake resonator and removal of the under-hood insulator.
At mid to high RPMs there is a significantly lower "grumble." It's an intake tone, not an exhaust tone.
No need to get a blow off valve with this intake, you'll hear the turbo psshh every time you come off the gas.
Throttle response has improved immensely. They advertise +19hp, I don't have before/after dyno proof, but there is most definitely a gain (just not sure if it's a full +19hp).
All in all, I'm very satisfied with the product. Well packaged, easy to follow instructions, sleek design.
