Could anyone recommend an appropriate in-dash DVD player for the S60 R?

If you are talking about a flipout dvd player that is the radio and everything I would highly recommend the Alpine IVAD310 great unit easy to use sounds great and also matches the blue guages. I work for a high end car and home audio place in Atlanta Ga, and we have done my car and one of our other ss members car here are a few pics of his and then mine.

the single DIN is a good look but you block the AC vents. 300 Horses look into a doulble DIN head unit, you will not get a full 7" sceen but you will not be covering the AC vents.

Yea alpine just released a double din unit that would work, and there are a few other made by eclipse,pioneer, kenwood and a few more that I am forgetting. We have the Alpines, and pioneers that we use and they are great.

what # is the new alpine 2-din. Its about time the came out with one i hope it has all the same things the IVA-D310 has.

Look in the Audio forum. There is a great post about installation of an aftermarket double din deck. I believe it's the kenwood, which is 5.1 so you can use the center speaker. I was going to go with the eclipse with the built in nav, nice unit BTW.
Volvo also makes a double din adapter and a single din adapter. I bought the double din and its perfect. However, I've decided not to install the double din deck.
I went with an aftermaket system using the factory deck, alpine amps, a 12" sub and a digital EQ specifically designed for factory decks.
It's a great set up while maintaining the factory appearance. I just felt that my money could be better spent on other things. Plus my wife had a lot to do with it.

the model number is IVAW200 we will have them in by the beginning of the month they are suppose to pretty much be the same as the ivad310 but a lil smaller screen and I am sure a few less functions but I am sure it will still be great.

The cleansweep is a JL AUDIO high end line level converter that boosts the output signal and balances it and all that good stuff and also gives you an aux in that is digital for an ipod or sat radio it also gives you to rca preouts. We sell it also, We have had very good luck with it. They also just had a price drop on it to 299.99

Actully I bought the EQS Digital Control, concert series. It works great. The only problem I have is when the system powers up the speakers crack from the amp. I've tried installing a relay, but it does not fix it.
The only work around is shutting off power to stereo at ignitition turn off and then let the amps power up and then turn on the radio. Its a real PITA.
