I see replacement trim pieces are available, but I can't find any instructions online. Can anyone share how to replace this piece?

I figured it out - put your finger in the key hole and pull the first part of the trim (not the whole thing) from the side closest to the cluster (left for LHD)

You don't actually need to replace anything to make a cosmetic repair. There are cover plates available on Aliexpress. that will fit 2013-2017 models. For some reason the 2010-2012 models on XC60's at least have different spacing between the start button and fob slot.

Yes unfortunately I’ve yet to find a silver cosmetic cover plate for RHD - every one I’ve looked at on AliExpress is LHD - if anyone finds one for RHD I’d greatly appreciate a reference please
