My idle speed is dropping rather low after sustained running at a higher rpm. For example coming to a stop at a red light after a highway run the motor wants to run at a stalling rpm for a few seconds before restoring a proper idle rpm. Is ther a sensor or idle control motor that I should be watching? Does it have to get worse first? Thanks a million for any input.

Could be the MAF sensor OR most likely is that the ETM is starting to go bad.
(Under 200K mile warranty, the ETM).
If not one of those it could be one of 10 other things but those two are the most likely to fail
