A control arm is ONE hour labor (plus alignment)

Soooo, bad control arms, ****ty oil, poor alignment, and an old hub assembly prevented your car from starting?

oh forgot to say that part, the starter was its own problem. just while it was there took care of a loud bearing, and two badly torn control arms if been stalling on.

Not trying to be an ass, but: I never really understand these threads. Why not get a written estimate, bring it home, ask for opinions, THEN have the work done?
I would have paid the $150 for the starter wire fix (with gritted teeth, paying for something so simple), taken the estimate, and been on my way.

cause money isnt really an issue. its if i can trust a dealer, they just sold in the last month. either way you look at it, work needed to be done.
and the 150 for the starter was only that because its a min of 150 diagnostics.
remember, im in the suburbs of chicago, and in cook county with the highest taxes in the nation at 10.25%
so dont look to far into it. just answer the question guys. was 1600 for the work dont, considering, done in 7 hours the monday after the 4th, a good price
