So driving over that steep embankment with an Eibach pro kit wasn't manageable after all... heard a lot smack and scrap on the underside only to be followed by a consistent grinding noise that was the unmistakable sound of the drive shaft scraping against the bent exhaust.
Anyone have any idea what I'm looking at as far as price goes for this repair?

It happened to me too. Cost me around $2200, and I am not so sure they replaced the driveshaft after telling me they did.
There should be a warning sticker on the driver side window when you buy the car to remove the center resonator and bracket.

Re: I killed my car (Elmoworld)

Bad day - I'm sorry to hear about this. Unfortunately, it's not the first time hearing about a repair shop tech/adviser driving a car home for the night, or in this case, the weekend...
Do you remember the mileage on the odometer when you dropped it off? If you really want to have fun with the shop report it stolen (I would just in case regardless of your suspicions against the shop). By chance does the dealership have a second lot, or could the car be inside the garage?
Better find your liquor cabinet quick and forget your troubles.
- Tryg

Re: I killed my car (phuz)

The type of damage he did would not have been warrantable anyway...
