Saffron too..... droooool. Some guys at IPD did the conversion for a customer apparently.

It wasn't for a customer - it was for an IPD employee. It should be a very nice car. I believe he already had the 18t installed just like a factory Euro R manual.

I just had a guy call me about my '98 M56 tranny to transplant into his '98 V70R, he said he found a guy locally selling an M58 (german citizen who imported it from germany) but it cost more. I told him if I were in his shoes I'd pay whatever it cost to get the M58. I don't even care that I lost the sale, an R wagon deserves AWD.

I scored the transmission itself from Car-part.com from a wrecking yard in Toronto, who just happened to have a sister yard in NY, which negated the ridiculous broker fees I would have faced to get the trans out of Canada. They drove it over the border, and I had myself a $350 M58.
