I thought someone was planning on doing it a few months back but I haven't seen anything. I will be installing KW V2 coilovers on my S40 in a few weeks, but not the same obviously...

No Helmut, sorry. See the "Ask VCNA" thread toward the end, there's a good explanation of why 4C cannot be disabled, as well as discussion as to how the rear suspension on the R is different from even a AWD S60.

IMO to eliminate our lovely shocks just find the right resistors to put on the harness to trick the computer into thinking they're still there. I just do not understand why this would not work.<p>When mine go bad I will do this and will do everything possible to make it work.

Im not really going for the slammed part I mostly need it for the adjustablility. Going on my new little friend which is going to be my track car. My FG V70R has been really good for track days (that I was driving her to throughout the south east) so far but now Im a better driver than when I started I need the adjustable function noe to get the best out of the car.

Yeah going with KW. I dont know if I will have to modify it any. Im really wanting to see how good their product is yaknow. I will try a totally different brand like Moton if there is going to be any fab work.
