Well, hardly got any help with my last thread on here... I guess the S40 forum is a bit more active than the s60
But from the help I did get... Thanks
I've bought a S60 D5 SE with Winter Pack
It has 15000 miles on it but for a Diesel, its barely broken in!
Titanium Grey with Arena interior.
The other choice was a Magic Blue with Arena inside. Thats only done 8000 miles and same price.
only thing was that it was a 05 plate which is the early gen of 2005.
The one I got is a 55 plate which is later end of 2005... so I get more warranty etc.
I should get it this week all being well!

Re: (Akash)

the torque should still be quite good even in the 163 bhp version.
i believe i met someone in one of the forums who have chipped this very same D5 engine on a S80 car and have increased its power to close to 200 bhp. not bad for a diesel engine. loads of torque, too, with the ecu upgrade. the only downside to this upgrade would be the wheelspin under hard acceleration, due to excessive diesel torque down low.
happy driving
