V Power is actually 100 RON/ROZ, which equates out to ~96 octane. Similar to the Aral 100 I run, and have to say, the R loves it.

There is something else going on, maybe you have a bad gas cap? What mods do you have on your car?

Whilst V-Power is slightly different in different countries around Europe, it is universally approved to EN228. However the Octane rating does differ from country to country: V-Power has a minimum RON ranging from 95 (Ireland) to 100 (Germany)..

Seriously, thanks for the info, I had no idea. I mean, with McDonalds Chicken McNuggets, parts is parts, no matter where you are... even if they do call a quarter pounder a Royale with Cheese.

Oh yuck, 95RON is 90.8 octane (they round down to and display 90 on the pumps on base).
