I always have this symbol on dashboard 1-2 times a week.

I went to dealer and they coulsn't find anything.Thay said that it is not important. However after starting the engine again it goes.

I use Shell V power 100 Octane.Maybe return to 95 octane?

Do you have any experinces about this?

You need to buy one of these. It fixed my problem, couldn't be happier.

I got mine off Amazon for about $60, well worth it.

Do not get the other brand, blue color i forgot the name (Equus i think) it will not work with modern cars, had to return mine.

Watch that Volvo i hope it came with two armed bodyguards, or it may get trucked deeper into the Middle East:)

V Power is actually 100 RON/ROZ, which equates out to ~96 octane. Similar to the Aral 100 I run, and have to say, the R loves it.

There is something else going on, maybe you have a bad gas cap? What mods do you have on your car?

I have BMC filter and BSR exhaust. No other mod.No chip tuning also.

Guaranteed to work with an R? If not 100% sure, any similarly-priced alternatives?

Watch out with this statement Kelly.

V-Power is RON 100 in Germany. It is RON 99 in Italy I believe and it is advertised as a clean RON 95 replacement with a closer to RON97 rating, and killing for an R, in the Netherlands.

Whilst V-Power is slightly different in different countries around
Europe, it is universally approved to EN228. However the Octane rating
does differ from country to country: V-Power has a minimum RON ranging
from 95 (Ireland) to 100 (Germany).

So what the hell is the EU for then? I demand a trial in The Hague for this...

Seriously, thanks for the info, I had no idea. I mean, with McDonalds Chicken McNuggets, parts is parts, no matter where you are... even if they do call a quarter pounder a Royale with Cheese.

I bet the 95 is 95 RON so it's the 91-92 Californians suffer with I bet

Oh yuck, 95RON is 90.8 octane (they round down to and display 90 on the pumps on base).
