I was up in Vail over the weekend and about fell over when I saw this new Volvo! It sure was a head turner! <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/eek.gif" BORDER="0"> <br><IMG SRC="http://photos-c.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v333/111/68/171700625/n171700625_30416658_4139.jpg" BORDER="0"><br><IMG SRC="http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v333/111/68/171700625/n171700625_30416659_4525.jpg" BORDER="0"><br><IMG SRC="http://photos-e.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v333/111/68/171700625/n171700625_30416660_4865.jpg" BORDER="0"><br><IMG SRC="http://photos-f.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v333/111/68/171700625/n171700625_30416661_5213.jpg" BORDER="0"><br><IMG SRC="http://photos-g.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v333/111/68/171700625/n171700625_30416662_5556.jpg" BORDER="0"><br>It was actually extremely well done! The entire thing was life size and made out of Legos! The detail and intricacy was amazing. They also had a new R-Design XC-90 right next to it, and it was beautiful as well. I had never seen one up close before. I am glad to see that they still kept the beautiful R Instrument gauges that I love so much. I got to thinking that XC-90 R-Design, with a T6 could be a good baby hauler... for the wife of course... <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/wink.gif" BORDER="0"> <BR><BR>

Where can I get those big rubber tires for my son's Lego collection... <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/tongue.gif" BORDER="0"> The bumpers look a little faded.<p>I wonder how much a 'Lego craftsman' gets paid. That's a lot of forthought and hard work.<p>Trygve<br>

For those who may have missed the connection, Lego is a Scandinavian company. <p>Using the Volvo Overseas Delivery program, I picked up an 850 T5 wagon in Copenhagen some years ago. We visited Legoland Denmark the next day. It was pretty cool! Don't recall any Lego Volvos, though.<p>I take that back...<p><IMG SRC="http://www.roadtransport.com/blogs/big-lorry-blog/lego.JPG" BORDER="0"><BR><BR>

I posted this in the Car Lounge a little while ago... this car has got a lot of "mileage" now! <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/tongue.gif" BORDER="0"> <p> <A HREF="http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=101173" TARGET="_blank">http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=101173</A> <p>Check it out, I took a picture of the car's "Spec" sheet, pretty interesting facts.<p>

Wow! Who knew this car traveled so much! It really does look faded; after all it was built in 2004. Volvo is now the "Official Sponsor" of Vail Resorts so there were Volvos everywhere! The R fit right in!

They had a blue version of the XC90 a few years back and my uncle over at Rockleigh HQ was in charge of putting on the rotors/brakes/tires on it <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/cool.gif" BORDER="0">
