My car just got back from the VOLVO body shop 2 wks ago & $900 later. Someone hit my car with a carriage from the mall. Boy was I pissed People have no respect for other peoples property..
People are can be so careless. I discovered a small ding by the front door handle on the passenger side this weekend. Don't know how anyone can put one up so high.
I got my first stone chip exactly 1 day after I picked up my black V50. I was pissed for a minute, but then I remembered something. It's a car, and I bought it to DRIVE it! I bought it so my collector cars don't get chipped and scratched. I bought it as a kind of "sacrificial lamb", if you will. I love the thing to bits, but I know that it will get more marks, and "character" as time rolls on. Such is life, I suppose.
Al
I've only just had to fill a few stone chips in after owning the car for just over a year. It's been a bad month for stone strikes, the windscreens taken most of the hits, but the paint on these cars is tough once cured.
yup same here... just before i gave my 1.8 in for the 2.4, i had two windscreen chips and then whatever around the body.
seems like these days there is a lot more stones on the motorways that keep hitting me! could be the grit during the winter
