Had Huper optic 50 installed on my 06 V70R, used Tint King in MA. came highly recommended from Swedespeed members, thanks! looks great, one question, cargo back window and the side windows have little water pockets, not that clear to look out back window. Tink King says it will take a couple of weeks for film to completely adhear to window and have water evaporate? passenger side windows look great, no issues. any thoughts out there. thx

Re: Huper Optic tint (row)

I shouldn't take that long in the middle of the summer, but I'm sure they are giving you a worse case scenario. Don't roll down your windows for a couple days!

Re: Huper Optic tint (row)

I would suggest you not worry about it for a few weeks. I was actually told to not roll my windows down for a full month. All of the spots went away before then.
If not, you can always tell them about the spots and they should fix the back and side windows as the tint has a lifetime warranty on it.
Good pick on the tint!!

IMO, if you see any water spots/gatherings between the film and glass after 24 hours of an install, then that install is suspect for that piece of glass. All streaking ought to be GONE after the first day. They may tell you to not roll down windows and such for a few days after install...but the streaking between the film and glass should really not be there after a day. Give it a solid day-perhaps 2. If after the 2nd day it's still there, then I'd raise the screwed-up install flag. Ask yourself why the passenger side windows are "perfect", but the others aren't... Don't go crazy, buy wait the day or two.

Re: Huper Optic tint (Short Circuit)

looks much better, very few imperfections, few more weeks it will look like factory tint glass, Huper optic is great stuff.
