Re: (zerocover)

All windows from the factory have a very light tint on it...

Wow, you can remove factory tint? I thought it was part of the glass...

Factory tint is not a film that you can peel off. The windows are just tinted by color.

Well, I've read it a ton and I actually just sped read it again (before seeing your reply) and I don't see anywhere that actually says if it is factory or aftermarket tint he is removing, he just refers to it as tint.
But after reading it again I'd assume it most likely is aftermarket that he is removing. Still assuming as it is not stated anywhere, but the removed tint doesn't look as quality as I'd expect from Volvo.

Yeah, I'd think that Volvo would have a factory stained tint instead of a film. I know some other companies use film though so you can't be sure without insider info, lol. My 93 Cavalier's window was shattered, and held together by the factory tint film. But then again, that is a chevy we're talking about. But now that Volvo might very possibly be sold to Geely (Chinese company) who knows what we'll see in the future from Volvo. I personally despise Geely since all they have really done so far is copy much nicer cars (such as the Rolls Royce Phantom) and making a much more inferior and cheaper product. I really don't want Volvo to become that cheap. If it does I will never buy a 2011 or newer Volvo...
