I was wondering who else was dumb enough to accidently do this <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/wink.gif" BORDER="0"> <p>I was also wondering what you did to get it off? I also want to know who has painted them and how they went about doing it.<p>Thanks,<p>-Colin

you can use brake clean it works I have used it on plastic bumper to paint and no fisheye

get a microfiber and SOAK it with tire shine. trust me it works better than anything else.

i taped off all my trim today and used restore black with the included applicator. looks f'en <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/eek.gif" BORDER="0">

Scuff them (Scotchbrite pad)then clean them (solvent, etc) and just paint them with bumper (grey/black) paint.<br>Available at any automotive store. I've done several of these and the result is amazing and MUCH better than a "black" product.<br>Take the time to clean them carefully and mask them off <U>really</U> carefully then all it takes is about 10 minutes of careful spraying and they will look good for years!<br>Do two or three <U>light coats</U> rather than trying to cover the plastic in one heavy coat
