Sorry if I do not know the lingo.
It appears my 4C is leaking around the boot area on the rights side. When I hit rough patches on the road it feels like I am hitting a wall.
I have had two alignments done and they do not appear to be holding so I suspect there is an issue with my 4C or right spring. I am sure someone will correct me
How much should I expect to pay? Should I buy a used one? Should I replace both sides at the same time?

Re: How much should I expect to spend on a replacement of my right 4c (Farbon Ciber5)

What's a 4C?
(assuming you mean a strut)
That'll be $1,000 to $1,300 installed, thanks. For one. And no, you don't need to do both.

Thanks guys.
I think Zen quoted me 1,400 for both. Is that good? If I am able to supply the parts I may be able to save money correct?

I would think the $1400 isn't too bad actually. The only thing about supplying your own parts to an actual Volvo dealer is they won't like it. Particularly if you order the parts from another volvo dealer. They lose out on a bit of the job, and may not warranty the work as they don't know where the parts came from. It's hog-wash, but i've run into this before. Can't hurt to ask.
and yes, they are the struts. Slightly different build then the shocks found on the rear.
