I can move mine back and fourth with my hands almost an inch each direction. Seems kind of loose to me.

However, it is designed to have play. Your scenario doesn't sound out of line if some forces is required to move it. <br> <p>It's not a brace bar, it's designed to keep the engine movement down, and is designed with compliance built into the bushings to minimize vibration translation.<p>Having said that, the upper large bushing wears extremely quickly.

Buy the IPD inserts and round motor mount to start and go with a stiffer lower transmission mount to tighten it up a bit more.
