It is very easy. Yes you can do it if you have a ramp. If you've done an oil change before than it will be even easier. Only thing I would recommend is the filter tool.

the oil filter resides in a resusable plastic canister. If you're not careful a strap wrench or plier type (which I use) could crack the casing. Actually, I'm able to take mine off with my hands using a little grunt. But there is a socket type that fits over the bottom of the filter canister and attaches to a rachet.
And the oil is real easy to do. Get 6 quarts, but start checking the level after 5.5 to make sure you don't overfill.

It is indeed very easy to change oil with ramps (not sure if sport body kit might be too low though). Actually, I'm just about due for a change!
The Volvo tool is worth it.
I always bring old oil to Autozone.

Worth every penny.... (Sorry IPD, as much as I love you, your Oil Filter Tools - both of them - suck)
Get a set of the Rhino Ramps from AutoBone (about $30) and you are off to the races.
Now...if you want to be a real pro about it, "finish the race" by getting your hands on a Torque Wrench for your drain plug and Filter Cover. Off the top of my head, the Cover is 18 ft/lbs and the plug is 26 ft/lbs, but don't take my word for it, look it up....but that is the range if you are going to buy the wrench.
All that and you are ready to be your own Pit Crew...you might need a few Metric sockets

I live in NC where I can just take my used oil to the satellite trash/recycling site a couple miles up the road and drop it off in a sealed container (the oil bottles, a milk jug, etc.) But I'm pretty sure that any place who sells motor oil also has to accept used motor oil as well (i.e. Autozone, Advance, etc.) except they usually want you to dump it in their tank yourself (and risk getting oily again)

I love that rotor. I've had to dump my own oil at PepBoys a few times and looked at the guy like he has 4 heads the first time he told me. After that, i would just leave my "car clothes" on and head over there (towels on the seat), then get dirty looks from other patrons because I looked like a street urchin.

The drain plug is at the rear center of the pan, so if you are on ramps, it will actually tilt the car so the the oil might drain a little better!

A vaccumer pump could be a good option at this time of the year, no? I've been thinking about using one for the oil change I do in mid-winter when it's too cold and dirty in the garage to lie under both my Volvo's to chage the oil. Right now if I had a pump I'd change the oil in both cars in now time with now muss or fuss (no need for cover-alls either). Granted the filter doens't get change and maybe more old oil gets left behind but it's still better than not getting around to it and going too long before the next needed change, no?
Am I missing anything else bad about a vaccum pump through the dipstick tube?
Elevating the front probably helps a bit but lots gets left in the lines and cooler (I'd guess at 0.5L). I flush 2L through one/year to help clean it all out.
By the way, if you are slim and somewhat flexible you can do the oil and filter without ramps
