Cicada,
I voted "other" because I have 5/15 - F/R -- which you suggested as a possible choice for yourself, but it is not an option in the survey. I'd take a pic for you, but somebody stole my camera (at Disneyworld!) and I need to go out and get another one.

I really like the way it fills out the rear. I'll try and borrow a camera today and take a few different angles -- unless anyone out there already has a few pics of a 5/15 set up. Anyone already have them?

Also, maybe ask people not to vote using the "other" category unless they have 5/15 - that way you can get a better estimate in the poll - maybe just ask them to reply to the thread if they really do have something that is a "non-5/15 other". I just noticed you have 15/15 listed twice - maybe designate the last one for 5/15? I'm assuming you can edit the body of your original post, just not the poll entries.

I'm taking my car in to the shop on Friday to get my springs put on (and hopefully IPD anti-sway if it gets here in time). I may take my spacers off for that trip (so the shop guys won't have to mess with them). I'll try and take before and after pics so you can compare.
Phuz maybe wait for September/October for that Reading trip....I have a bunch of mods waiting, and I can't wait to put on a 3" DP and IPD Softloader as a soon as it comes out! Meet after that!

10/15 looks _very_ nice-- i like how the top of the front wheel/tire is more flush with the outside of the fender, and the entra 5mm in the back is more noticeable than i thought..hmm

Re: (Cicada)

I just snapped some pics of my 5/15 setup this weekend. Sorry, Phuz, for taking so long to get those pictures taken it has been raining non-stop. I will be posting those this evening, I have some straight-ons from the rear that really do justice to the stance.
I only needed 5/5 to stop the slight rubbing at full wheel lock with my TME springs. (I have 18" wheels). I wanted to keep the suspension as close to the stock geometry as possible (although the springs have obviously modified that.)
Re: (phuz)

Here are a few pics of my 5/15 setup. I hope they are what you are looking for. Phuz, you asked for pics from directly up fonrt or rear. I've included some, but it was hard to see both tires at the same time - especially from in front. If anybody needs different angles, just ask and tell me if you want it highr or lower, or more of an angle...whatever. Here is what I have:
From directly in front:

From directly behind:

Looking down the edge of the car from front:

Looking down the edge of the car from behind:

Quarter angle from front:

Quarter angle from rear:

I hope this helps. Also I am going in the shop on Friday to get my TME springs and IPD anti-sway bar put on, and I was planning on taking off my spacers anyway (so the shop guys will have one less thing to complain about). Does any one want pics of the same car (without spacers), same angles for reference, or are you OK with how stock looks?

Forget it...I found photobucket. (My attempt to include pics doesn't seem to be working. Does anyone know of a free web service where I can share these pics to link them so all can see??? Thanks.)

Re: (Cicada)

I'm leaning towards the 5/15 myself. For those with 15mm spacers in the rear, have you noticed more scratches on the car behind the rear wheels due to road debris being thrown by the rear wheels?
Thanks,
George

I checked my fenders and didn't notice any scratches (but I only have 5K miles on my car). Anyway, I think this is due to the fact that the cars fender continually swoops inward as you move further back - so basically if a stone doesn't hit the inside of your wheel well, it won't hit anything (if the stone moves straight back). Now as the shape of the fender moves up, it does move out (narrowest at the lowest point, getting fatter as you move vertically) so I think there is a possibility of a stone flying upward that it could hit the fender. I believe the stock set up tire sticks out further than the bottom of the fender, so there is already a chance of this at stock, but it will be slightly more pronounced with the 15mm offset. My last car had flares in front of the rear wheels, and the stones kicked up by the front wheels really hit that hard. The R has a better shape for avoiding stones chips, but I think it is still possible.

If you do find you have issues there are clear paint protectors that you can stick on your fenders or other areas of you car susceptible to paint chips. I found this product for the R, http://www.invisiblemask.com/c...=2237
I'm sure there are others.
