I have a 2005 Volvo S40 T5 AWD and I love it. Stock it is already a pretty fast car, but I wish it would just have a little more get up and go. I want to get an ECU but I have no idea what I'm doing. I do not want to spend close to $1000 on a Rica ECU, are there any cheap ones that work well, and how do I get them installed.

There is not really a CHEAP option as far as ECU upgrades goes... As I dont have one, Ill let the other T5 guys chime in. Sorry to burst your bubble.

someone over at c30world.com found a company that sells bsr ppc's for around 750$ with free shipping in the US

My BSR Stage 1 is coming from ESE Tuning for $770 shipped.

It should be here in a few days.

Frank at Eurosport tuning, think he deals with BSR

Frank sells RICA... and it's about $1000 (plus shipping from Canada?).
