I have a 2005 Volvo S40 T5 AWD and I love it. Stock it is already a pretty fast car, but I wish it would just have a little more get up and go. I want to get an ECU but I have no idea what I'm doing. I do not want to spend close to $1000 on a Rica ECU, are there any cheap ones that work well, and how do I get them installed.

Re: How do you get a ECU change in the state? (Garrett004)

There is not really a CHEAP option as far as ECU upgrades goes... As I dont have one, Ill let the other T5 guys chime in. Sorry to burst your bubble. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/frown.gif" BORDER="0">

Re: (genjy)

Nice find on ESE, can you order anything higher than a stage 1 from them though?
