My girlfriend has a 2004 S80 with the Bi-xenon headlights option and the dealership wants to charge $250 for them to be replaced. If possible I would like to do this myself and save the money. Is it possible to change them at home and if so how do I do it?

yes use torx bit, you can either remove the 6 ballast screws OR remove the inner frame screws either way works for changing the bulb.

personally i just unscrew the ballast because the screws are easier to get to.

i got some cheap bulbs from ebay or amazon (maxlux d2r 5500k powervision), did not like their 6000k and wanted something a little bluer than 5000k

they were like 30 bux for the pair and still work great after almost 1 year now
