Re: Horn relocation (bschurr)

if you are considering relocating the horn, you might want to consider replacing it too!
http://www.hornblasters.com/

No! really?!?! jk I guess I should've been a little more detailed in my question. How would one go about finding the leads and splicing the leads without removal of steering wheel/airbag and all those other problems....

Re: (Copeland)

come on man...reverse engineering.
start at the horn itself and work backwards...up to the fuse panel (maybe?)
no need to open up the steering wheel.

Re: (Copeland)

Nope, take the plug that's in your fingers, if that's the one you removed from the factory horn, and plug it direct to your air horn. You may have to add some wire to reach where you mounted the air horn, red will likely be positive. Once hooked to your air horn the center of the steering wheel will activate it. I believe there is already a relay in the horn system so no need to add one. You won't need a second switch on the dash, just one should do.

err wrong people....
My airhorn is part of the siren...its an electronic airhorn that is part of my sirens amplifier which includes the wail, yelp, hi-low (eruo tones), and air horn.....its still going to be easy to do after sitting down and thinking about it.
