my driver side hid is not working properly...it doesnt tun on sometimes and says low beam failure on the screen...
HID Problem!

After market or factory? Sounds like a ballast issue at ant rate

Ima guess aftermarket, likely DDM ballast took a dump just like mine did this week.
Good thing they are cheap to replace, poor quality.

They are after market.. And it's a brand new ballast that I just put in to replace the bad one. But the thing is the lights work most of the time, just sometimes the driver side decides not to turn on!

That's fairly normal. Try flicking the light switch off then on and see if it triggers it.
One of my ddm slim balast's would do that from time to time. I would get the initial flash on start up, but no light up. Usually I had to unplug it real quick and plug it back in. Almost ways worked. The bad part about ddm is there customer service. Your better off buying another ballast to replace then warranty the bad one and get it back when they feel they need to send it and have a spare.

Yeah true, well they do work most of the time, it just sucks when I see that low beam failure message and I go look and it's off

try the disconnect trick and see if it helps?
what set up are you running? drl's disabled? ect.
