Re: Help!!! Spots all over my window!! (GShyneDM)

Well, my first response was that it is overspray, but the difference methods you have used would have got rid of that.
Have you tried using a razor blade (you will need refill from a cut throat razor or craft knife)
You can get the blade flat on the glass like this and remove anything.
Other than that I don't know...sorry!

I've used this Japanese brand window cleaner foam spray once, and it was able to take out those overspray...so you get the idea how strong that is.
I think there's another US brand window foam spray thingy out there, I forgot the name of it...you probably want to do some research on it.
They usually have good stuff here, maybe you can call them and ask them.. http://www.properautocare.com/index.html

I work in the eyeglass industry, if that holds any weight; you might want to try Acetone if they are foreign debris (paint, adhesive...)
Or if its a stain in the glass, or light pits with stuff in them, Serium Oxide comes in a powder form and when you get it wet and rub into the glass, you actually are removing small (micro) layers of glass.

Actually when I first bought. the front windshield was pitted like crazy. I made the dealer replace it for free (Volvo of Irvine). I drove across LA to buy this car and I was ready to walk out of the deal, so they replaced it.

The windshield is not cheap either. I also had Irvine Volvo replace a windshield for me after a rock hit it. Parts and labor cost me 575 (if i remember correctly) for an OEM one. Mine has a few bad rock scratches/pits. We have a place call "The Windshield Doctors" and the removed the debris from the pits, but said that they could not be filled.
