I ordered the VDO gauge from IPD, and I ordered the Carbon Fiber Werks door mount in FRP http://carbonfiberwerks.stimul...l.jpg
I just found out the mechanical gauges will not work with this mount, because of the wiring situation with the door and pinching.
I know it's my fault, I recently bought this car, and I should have researched this first.
What is a good electric boost gauge for me to buy? I have the T5, so I would prefer something that would match the stock gauges.

I dont see why you couldnt run a rubber vacuum line through the gromet where the wires are up to that mount. Wires arent exactly flexible either...

Re: Help me find an Electric Boost Gauge (Tiny)

I am personally thinking about getting a CF gauge pod and a couple gauges for my S60.
Thinking of http://prosportgauges.com/gree....aspx for boost and maybe http://prosportgauges.com/wide....aspx for A/F gauge.
Still would need to figure out where to mount the A/F gauge though, as everyone know, not a lot of easy mounting points on the P2 S60s.

I've seen a lot of Prosport installs online...unless they are secretly total crap...then I think Prosport, because of cost would be my route.
It's a good alternative. However, my previous car was a Chevy Cobalt. I feel weird about putting a gauge in my Volvo that says Cobalt on it.
If it was a plan face, I would be interested....Is there a way to take the bezel off?

hook it to your boost line then theres two wires to run into the actually gauge of the car.
theres a sender unit you leave in the engine bay that attaches to your boost line then run the two wires into your car and connect those plus your power and ground to the gauge itslef .
