oh boy -- this is a doozy.... of course i didnt' go on line and get anyones suggestion on this right after it happened... i took colleagues words for it... <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vortexmediagroup.com/images/banghead.gif" BORDER="0"> <p>i was away on a trip and it rained a lot -- to where for the next 2 days driving to work -- i had a Moist heated massage uugh.... <p>But then it was a nice warm day on friday -- so i left it out in the sun -- sunroof open and windows cracked -- sounds like a good idea <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/wink.gif" BORDER="0"> ... but it's not <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/zeroforum_graphics/screwy.gif" BORDER="0"> and now the seats are rock hard.... and in a couple of places -- where when it was wet it might have stretched out a bit... it's now shrunk together and and rock hard -- not a pretty picture... <p>Any one have good suggestions on how to get it soft and supple again? Saddle soap? <p>Thanks any suggestions you can give would be great !!

Clean it with a leather cleaner and condition it. Most everyone will recommend lexol. There are more expensive products if that doesn't do it but give that a try.<p>Clean it, condition it and let it dry for a day. Then Condition it again. That should do it.

Will is right just keep repeating that process and it should restore it...... you might want to take an extractor to your carpets as well as to prevent any sort of growth and that great smell.....

sorry i've been away for far too long -- what's a good leather cleaner?<br>i'll grab some lexol -- thanks for the tip on that....<p>my fingers are crossed.... the good news is that there is no smell <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vwvortex.com/vwbb/smile.gif" BORDER="0"><p>Thanks!!
