Hi all,
I have a US Spec 08 1.0 C30 T5 w/xenons. I am in Germany and found way cool LED DRLs. However, I cannot determine, with any certainty, if the Hella system will play nice with the Volvo electrical/lighting/xenon systems. German Volvo service dudes not helpful. I downloaded the Hella product installation manual and can email that to anyone who may want to peruse it (electrical experts out there?). I cannot determine if the Hella lights are now available in the US (heading back to states in July). Hella released the product in May 08.
I am off to see a German auto parts store to see what they can tell me regarding price and compatibility and such. Eventually, I want to install on my C30 and my wife's 07 S80 w/xenons. Any help is appreciated.
Josh
Major, US Army
Germany

Re: Hella LEDayline (mad matt)

Hi - here's the link - http://www.myhellalights.com/h....html (available July 09 in US from http://www.rallylights.com)
Also thinking about home making LED DRLs with some Oznium lights I have ordered. Intent is to install LEDs to stay on until I turn the low beams on = LEDs off. Have read too many websites about relays and DIY...Just unsure at this point on how to do specifically to the C30 and my wife's S80.
If I figure it out before someone else does...I will post.
Thanks!
