Hola,
Im considering the 18" volution V's & X's from IPD on my 2.4i S40.
I noticed these are pretty heavy, what will the extra weight do to my ride, the gas milage, or other factors?
would i need hubcentric rings to avoid the 60mph vibration i had with my other 19" rims?
Thanks for your help guys you have been great to me so far.

Re: Heico Wheel Weight on a 2.4i? Slow it down? (imaqt823)

I have the V's on my 2.4i s40 and it didn't really seem to slow it down much at all. You dont need to install any hubcentric rings, steering limiters, or roll the fenders. The ride quality (bumpiness and road noice) was a bit more noticeable but was tolerable. My car still feels smoother and has less road noise than a lot of other cars. I had Eibach springs installed too.

I don't want to sound discouraging if you really have an eye on those attractive wheels. Those wheels will also be high quality for sure. Some people say a few pounds makes a world of difference, some people say they don't notice.
I was going to go with Pegasus 17x8 wheels, but decided I'd rather go with something lighter than the stock rather than heavier. Not sure how much of a difference it really makes in normal driving.
Also notice
http://forums.swedespeed.com/zerothread?id=58082
