Hey guys,

I wanted to give a quick review of the Heico Sport Suspension kit (shocks, springs, and struts) on my 2014 XC60 RD. I had it installed by a great shop in Santa Cruz. Thanks to other members on here for their reviews as they certainly informed my decision to go with this kit.

It's been on for about a week so far and the improvements are really great. The drop in ride height is noticeable, and from inside it really feels lower and more like a wagon. Bumps are smoothed over, and the handling at speed is just so much better than stock. I can take corners and onramps much faster than before. Ride is compliant, not too stiff or harsh. Overall so far so good.

I also just replaced the stock P Zero A/S with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. I've only had them on for a day but so far they're great. Far less road noise, nice grip, and they look nice to boot. I'm on the West coast now so didn't need A/S anymore.

Which shop did you use in Santa Cruz? We just moved here, too and I will eventually need an independent shop for my wife's XC60. Took my 240 wagon to AE Motorsports for a bunch of work, but they really f'd up the clutch job (pressure plate let go on Hwy 17 in Los Gatos on the way home...that was an interesting drive).

Huh, AE did the work on the suspension and I was really happy with the experience but this was the first time I've used them. They came highly recommended too.

Did you speak to Jeremy who runs the shop? He was great to deal with before the work was even done as it took forever for the parts to come through VIVA.

They are good guys for sure (I dropped almost $4k in my $1800 wagon as a combo of age and performance stuff), just had a bit of a nightmare with the clutch, but they are doing right by standing behind their work even though it took 3 trips to get car somewhat sorted. Just curious who you used and your experience, which sounds like a good one.

Not trying to bash them, and Jeremy and Pete are stand up guys.
