it does sound good, but not 3200 Euros good :). Wonder if there is a mod to make the factory exhaust flap stay open for increased sound. I remember back in my BMW days the e90 335 had a mod that you can insert a golf T to keep the flap open for a slightly more agressive sound

Just delete the muffler and add a Flowmaster. I paid about $250 for my mod

agree it is overpriced, specially if there is not much added performance increase

Germany has laws that make sure cars are compliant and safe. This is regarding ride height, wheel sizes, engine mods, exhaust, etc.
If a modified car is involved in accident and aftermarket parts were the cause then manufacturer of these parts is liable.
Police often checks cars that sound too loud and if the parts changed are not listed in registration then cars towed away to local inspection station. This is also for wrong wheel/tire sizes, etc.
High price of this exhaust is a result of cost of certification that Heico had to do. This is with everything that is sold in Germany, even software tunes.
BTW. Switzerland has very strict drive-by noise regulation.
