Heico Rims and Coilovers installed. The coilovers are set at the highest level in these images. I will post pics later of the car lowered 2" in the front and 2.25" in the rear.

Everything looks great except those hideous taillights, they look very much out of place.

Looks great! I'm not a big fan of the tinted lights, but I can get used to yours. The whole package is very stealth-like, especially debaged.

The car used to have black 20" rims that matched the taillights better.
Its painted with transparent black paint if that makes sense.
I purchased doubles so i can swap it out with stock, i was lucky to get them cheap off a smashed S40 at the dealership. More people like them blacked out than not.
Next styling mod is cornering fog lamps and a new paint job.
Shall I put the stock color lights on to match the rims a bit better or keep it as is?

Re: (imaqt823)

those wheels look sweet!!!,
yeah, I agree they would look even better in black since you've started with the black tails, and black mirrors on top would be perfect. show us some pics at the lowest setting when you get a chance, nice ride!!

What colour would your new paint job be?
You wouldn't happen to know SonicAutoSalon would you? This is/was his S40, from a while back, with 20" black rims.

Re: (Pez)

how are the coilovers? Would you say they are significantly better (ride, handling, etc.) than just the springs alone? Also, how difficult is it to adjust the height? Of course this is kind of assuming you've either had solely springs on this car or previous cars i guess. Thanks for the insight.
Steve

The Titans caught my eye as well... I need to find someone to unload my silver X's on

For some reason, in the first person, the back looks like a Jetta. I would agree in that the stock rear lamps would look better or even just a slight smoked look, but the all out black looks a little out of place.
Very nice car!!!

Looks good, nice work. I'd also like to see the car lowered.
Yea the tails are a little dark but the rest is nice (and I don't even like red cars)

The car is going in to be painted a deeper dark red, similar to the 2004 M3 deep red, even considering a flat red but kinda hesitant cause i have not seen it in person. I have not seen my car in over a year in person, I have been doing all of these mods away from home. Its still only got 3000 miles on it. The roof and rear view mirrors will prob be black as well. the original color lights will be put on it this week thanks to your opinions guys.
In regards to the coilovers, again I havent driven it so i dont know, my wife says they are a much better ride but she really doesnt know much about cars. The car has not been aligned or balanced yet.
She is feeling a shimmy in the steering wheel at 40-55mph anything after 55mph its gone. Any idea what this would be guys? sounds like a balance problem to me, anyone experience similar ?

Looking at your pics again, the difference in height between the front bumper and sideskirts for the Evolve kit doesn't look bad. I'm wondering if its just the angle of your pics or the angle of other pics that make the difference much more pronounced.
