Took delivery of my 23 xc90 T8 and realize today that heat isn’t working in hybrid mode. Hoping it’s minor, but gut tells me it’s HVHC. But ridicules. Car has barely over 500 miles.
I did notice if the car sat outside during the super cold days the engine kicked in much sooner, which instantly warmed up the cabin. After a while the engine would turn off and it would run electric, no heating issues. I didn’t notice this prior winter, and I don’t know if the engine kicked in purely for heating or to protect itself and other parts from cold…I am guessing it’s the latter
