I plan on heat wrapping my OBX downpipe when I get around to installing it, I was also wondering if it's possible/advisable to heat wrap the exhaust manifold and turbocharger exhaust housing? If not is there a heat wrap style heat shield (like ones you can buy for T3/T4 turbochargers) that would fit on the KKK24?

The OBX turbo-downpipe flange mandated the removal of the turbocharger heat shield on my 2008 2.5T because it was rubbing against the heat shield, so I am worried that i'd have to do the same thing on my R and would really like to keep engine bay temps down and exhaust temps high.

I think it's a really good idea to wrap the downpipe, especially if you haven't installed it yet. Perfect time to do it as its easy when it's out. The exhaust manifold is also a good idea, but much more difficult due to the lack of access behind the engine, which would require you to remove the turbocharger as well.

Btw, TI-R, I don't know what was so funny?
