After driving a couple hundred KMs today, I pull into my driveway, pop out and notice that my driver side headlight wiper is facing straight up, cutting right down the middle of the headlight. I gave it a little grab trying to move it, but no dice. It seems jammed.
Anyone else experience a similar situation with their headlight wipers? Any tricks I should try before attempting to drop the bumper and replace the motor?

Re: Headlight Wiper Jammed (GuelphVolvo)

Because of the design of the gear set inside the wiper motor unit you can't do anything besides removing the wiper arm before doing the inevitable...that is removing the bumper cover to access each wiper motor which then can either be disassembled and rebuilt or replaced outright with a known good unit.

If you cycle it on and off, it may return to its correct position.
Nevertheless, it's shot and needs replacement
