Hello all,

I will be wrapping my headlights with Lamin-x in the near future. Car is a 2018 V90 R-Design.

Does anyone have experience removing the headlight assembly? I know in previous generations it was very simple -- thinking its no longer that way lol.

Also, would there be any relearning for the adaptive headlights? I haven't called the dealer yet; giving the forum a shot first.

Thanks in Advanced,

Mike

If it's like the XC90, bumper will need to be removed. No relearning that I know of, I've had 2 replaced :(

This doesn't answer your question but I tinted my headlights with the lights on the car. Found it more easy with them being fully stuck on the car and there's no weird shapes that would require massive stretch.

Thanks for all the replies! Figured it was a mess to remove.

It shouldn’t be a problem — my buddy is just paranoid about taking a blade anywhere near the car. We’re just used to removing them first.
