... I see them on EBay ... real CF ones. Man, I woulda killed for a reasonably priced set for my SLK, but in 7 1/2 years only 1 (outrageously priced) set was all I could find. The design was kinda fugly too . I can always mod a mod though .
Does anybody here use them ... or have any pics??? Most of the listings just show a generic pic ... they could be nice or awful I guess . Was a popular Euro mod .... might be passe now. What does everyone think ???

Re: Headlight eyebrows .... (Quick Brick)

Personally I'm not a fan of the eyebrows, but if you like them then go for it! I do think the fad kind of passed. I tend to see them on still on 3-Series, but that is about it.

I think ipd carries them but they do interfere with the headlight wipers.
I tend to agree with the old fad comment but if they were actually integrated properly they could look cool. That said, they can't since they're a total styling afterthought and would always look like a stick-on piece - much like the Evolve taillight trim (IMHO).
-Eric

I kind of envisioned a set mimicing the upper half of the silver inset of the lamp ... but Eric is correct, that would interfere with the wiper .

Re: Headlight eyebrows .... (Quick Brick)

Someone (I think it may have been Sean) used a sticker of sorts to cover up the orange corners of the lenses to create a clear-look to them. Others have used some kind of sticker/tape to cover the black (non-monochromatic) trim on their '04 models in lieu of painting.
You know, if you want the look of a more aggressive light, you might consider playing around with some kind of colored sticker to shape and use as an applique over the headlight. That way, it wouldn't really interfere with the movement of the wipers (although the wipers may eventually peel away at the sticker) and you could easily remove it if you didn't like the look or grew tired of it. My only concern might be the heat generated by the lights.
-Eric
