Ive been in the process of purchasing a V70 and noticed that many have cracked headlights. Is this related to the rubber stops (bumper) on the underside of the hood? I was thinking it may be caused by people droping the hood to close it. Has anyone else noticed this or is it only with my 2001 V70's?<br>-Ben

Got mine from a flying rock on the highway. $350 part for each side, DIY not too hard.

Possibly unrelated, my S60 had a chip in the lens at one point. Car sitting in the driveway while I was washing it, car had been on recently so the lenses were fairly warm from the lights having been on, cold water hit that chip and the lens just cracked all the way.

Well, I've got the headlight assemblies to replace with but I hear you need to take of the front bumper (cover only). Is this correct. how can I find a manual for it.
