Has anyone baked their headlights to remove the lens? I've seen it done on a couple of other forums but don't know if it will work with our headlights due to all of the Xenon and auto leveling stuff?
Re: Headlight Baking??? (Minn R)

Yes, a few people have done it to either remove the amber side marker thing or paint the silver trim black. I think some have also replaced the guts of the DRL with something more high-beam-ish.

I have removed the glass and amber lens, filled, and painted the surrounds. Please use the heat gun/hairdryer method and do not bake your lights. There are a lot of sensitive parts attached to the housing that would not react well to an oven.
The Vivaperformance link explains the correct way to remove the lens.

Re: Headlight Baking??? (Minn R)

I have baked my headlights to put in clear corners and do the euro mod. 170 degrees for about 10-15 mins works great. Softens up the glue very nice and make for removal super easy.
