Has anyone purchased the headlamp protection kit from VIVA Performance?

If so, is it an easy install and worth the $200?

Xpel kit is much cheaper and just as good if not better

holy crap, are they serious? $1000 each for an HID headlight?

i had no idea! my headlights are pitted already - welcome to arizona, the gravel capital of the world - so i'm thinking it's too late to save mine.

Pitted versus cracked is a big difference. It might be time to invest in some clear protection before anything happens to start cracking across the lens.

XPEL is cheap and available in numerous colors besides clear. And just a tip from personal experience, don't go with smoke color...

While Xpel is cheaper, don't kid yourself in thinking that it offers the same level of protection as a hard plastic headlamp cover.

One of our customers who purchased this kit from us sent in a picture of his Xpel installed headlamp with a spiderweb crack in the glass from a rock. I'll ask if I can upload the picture for you guys to see.
I just got a quote for one of my headlights on my 2004 V70R manual with a bit under 60k miles, $1300+!! Any alternatives?

Re: (dwg0re)

I've read before that Volvo doesn't recommend the hard covers for any vehicle with headlight wipers. Says it will scratch them, unless your covers are different than these. Just my 2 cents.

Sure, Euro lights for about $3k. Each.

New: try Boston Volvo Village ([email protected], ask for John Sharisky).

Can be had for roughly 1650 each, including shipping, but not doesn't include duties and sales tax. (as of April)
