how would one go about putting a new cd player in an 850, an aftermarket one that is quite a bit narrower than stock? the stock stereo is about double the size so what would take up the extra space? is there soem sort of cd holder or something you can buy to slide in there? does anybody have pics of theirs?

thanks

There are a few things you can do. You could buy a plastic insert that will take up the extra space. You can find them at any local car audio shop, or even Circuit City. As for the width I had someone else install mine, so I can't help you there. I'll post a pic when I get my camera back. Or, you can always get a Double Din size head unit which will cost more, but they usually have tape and CD built in.

Yes, you can buy an Alpine 6disk and then purchase a $30 cable that hooks the two togeather. The changer is a good changer, and is one of the smallest on the market. I have mine in the glove box, but they can be put where ever you want.
