Well the 2000 V70XC does a lot of driving on dirt roads in the summer . I seam to be going through tie rods in the last few years. I there a true heavy duty Tie rod out there for the XC ?

What have you been replacing them with? OEM or aftermarket?

iPd currently is listing "URO" "Aftermarket" and "Volvo OE," did they once brand a tie rod end as IPD? The OEM Lemforder or TRW tierods are generally regarded as the best. I wouldn't hesitate to install a Meyle either. Those $11 aftermarket ones they're listing have got to be crap...
