I just upgraded a 2011.5 D5 that have the Nav prep cable but didn't install the Nav due to the cost. There are 2 Nav options in Australia with Sensus connected touch with Nav or like the factory fitted Nav but either way was just under $3k. The customer purchasing the car decided they wanted the screen upgraded from the 5" to the 7" and have a reverse camera which I installed and the car has been sitting at the dealership since before Christmas as there is an issue with the software from the factory. They are waiting for new software to be written to enable the 7" screen/infotainment system to function. I did enquire about also fiting the Nav and then trying the software to see if that would work as most people would put in Nav if they were upgrading the screen.

The base model cars had a 5" screen if it didn't have Nav or reverse camera. The customer wanted a reverse camera which needed the 7" screen. The screen and surround were $900 so it wasn't too bad but the problems with the software are being a pain.
