Hi, this just started about the 84,000 mile mark on my 2002 V40. The engine starts just fine when it's hot and it does get very hot in CA, but doesn't start well if the engine is cold: cold here being about 70 degrees F. It finally does start cold after a lot of cranking and when it does start it idles very badly for about thirty seconds.
Any ideas on this one? The only fault which has shown up with the OBDII checker is a cyl 1 and 3 msifire which I suppose is die to the cold start misfirng/shudder/hesitation.
Thanksin advance!!
