I get the same thing with my 2019 S60. It’s even worse shifting to Park if I have it in Polestar/dynamic mode- it clunks into park if I don’t stop at neutral for a moment. My driveway is perfectly flat and I usually set the parking brake, but it feels like it would if I parked on a hill without setting the brake.

I mentioned it to the dealer when I was in for service this past spring and the service advisor said it’s a known issue and that there’s some type of transmission adaptation they can run to fix it. But then they forgot to do it, so I don’t actually know if it works or not. I was going to try again at my next service…
