I've spent the better part of my morning reading the archives and was curious as to what (if any) progress has been made towards getting a 50/50 split.

Re: Haldex (Jay_SB)

Evolve and Haldex are currenly working on a "upgrade" that we could do, to change the 90%front and 10%rear drive. I would love a 50/50 all of the time.

They may but a 50/50 split will feel like playing Need For Speed with force feedback disengaged. Furthernore you could get into serious trouble in emergency situations before the system kicks in. The 90 front give the car good stability in acceleration and remember, we accelerate 99% Anyway my ignorant c2

But if we had that, you would want it 60 to 62 rear to 38 to 40 front, not 50:50.

There's no center differential, so no dial. Read up on the Haldex, interesting system, superior in many ways.
Tom.

It might be a good system but it certainly does not fit the R character.

I've been told by one tuner that a Gen 2 system is in the works.
