I may have a Haldex problem, but I'm not sure. Under full power my R displays significant front wheel spin, much more than I thought the Haldex system allowed. <p>It rained yesterday (rare in So Cal) so I thought I would test the Haldex. I reduced the DTSC function and punched it going up a concrete driveway to test the Haldex torque transfer from front to rear. The front wheels spun madly (alot more than 1/7 of a rotation) and the car creapt foward very, very slowly (front wheels still spinning). Is this normal? It didn't feel like 50% of the torque was being directed to the rear. I have checked the theads but nothing is on point. How do I tell if I have a problem?

Perhaps another angle gear has gone to pasture?

There are fuses that you can pull to deactivate the all wheel drive(not sure which ones) But if you pull them the car goes into front drive only. If it feels the same without the fuses then you know it is only front drive....Trip to the dealer....Probobly have a bad fuse or sensor.

Re: Haldex problem. (MASH)

My fuse was installed incorrectly and my car went into front wheel drive only, BUT I had a message stating "AWD Service Required" or something like that. The fuse on my 2004 is in the rear drivers side wheel well.
